So I'm making the move from Spokane, WA back to the great state of KY. I'd like to get a job at the Human Resources Command. I've been in the Army since 01' and have served as a QM officer since 06'. I haven't had much experience in logistics with the Army but I did do a short stint as a Basic Combat Training XO and CO at Ft Knox back in 08'. I know the job sites to apply for the jobs there but besides the song and dance you have to do to get your resume through the filter you really need to know someone to have your application and resume looked at. I've heard they are having a hard time finding qualified applicants for a lot of the jobs there. If anyone here is on the inside right now with the Human Resources Command or knows a good POC to contact please feel free to give me a pm. I plan on making the move in August or early September. I might come sooner if there is a position available immediately. Any information is greatly appreciated.

Your resume needs to have the correct buzz words to match the buzz words in the announcement. Once you get past that, then your resume should be looked at. You are going through the CPOL website right? Since your are in the military, I would think you would have no problem They are hiring more military/prior military than regular folks. Your chances are great. Keep applying.
