Welcome back. We bought a small farm northeast of Lubbock two years ago but are still trying to sell our house on the west side at Albuquerque. I assume you moving from Rio Rancho?

Yes, I am. I can't wait. Albuquerque is a trip! Don't get me wrong, it's a fine city but I can think of better ones.

Why did you pick Albuquerque and then Lubbock? Usually, most people moved to Albuquerque from it seems like either Boston or New York or L.A. and they think it's the greatest thing ever. I don't know if I can concur with that. I was sort of forced-transferred to Albuquerque but I got a job with relatives back home. They miss their daughter.

Actually we were in Lubbock, then Albuquerque, then Lubbock again. We've owned homes in both cities but my former job, from which I am now retired, was last in Albuquerque.

I like Albuquerque but I love New Mexico and the Texas south Plains. In simplest terms, my wife and I are native Texans who wanted to "go home" to retire.
