Hi all- I've been living in LBB for a few years now and always wonder about new construction I see around town. Can someone fill me in on new and upcoming restaurants and retail in town? I know about Market Street on 19th and Quaker and the new IMAX at the mall. What else is in the works? Thanks!

Does anyone know what ever happened to the United they were supposed to build at 4th and Milwaukee? They worked extremely fast pouring the parking lot, and putting up the little convinience store but seems to have gone to a stand still now...

Just found out what happened with that property. McGavock sold the land for a very nice price. The plan is to put in seven new restaurants and a motel. Kind of a "Restaurant Row", like they have in Dallas suburb of Addison. Brew house, a cheesecake restaurant, and some kind of chain steak house, but I forgot which one. Makes sense. There's nothing else to do in Lubbock, so people go out and eat.
