2014's game would be in Lubbock, with the next year's in Fayetteville.

I think this could be big for a few reasons. Obviously it would quiet those who criticize the non-conference scheduling for Tech. However, there's the potential economic impact for Lubbock, since it's a regional opponent with historical conference ties. I would guess that the visiting crowd would be like that of OU or OSU.

Well, every little bit helps. They'll all be big games. Plus, depending on which way they get to Lubbock, the infrastructure is vastly improved over what they had before.

That's good news! I'm always glad to see Tech play teams from the old SWC and Arkansas is always a tough opponent so these should be good games.
