I'm 21 and just got a job at one of the major hospitals in lubbock. I start in less than 4 weeks so I really need help choosing an apartment. I am un married, no kids and would appreciate a safe place. I will be working nights so a quiet neighborhood where I can rest peacefully during the day would be ideal . Currently the apts I'm leaning towards are farrar west, park towers(I'm coming from dallas and I'm used to high rise living) sagewood, Cameroon court, farrar west, metropolitan, oak ridge, bentwood, and hunters way. Which ones would you choose and why? Thanks for your help.

Depending on your budget Tuscany Place would be a good bet. It is a growing part of town and is quick drive to the free way. They are new apartments with a few different floor plans. You may check it out!

Welcome to Lubbock. Check out Lubbock in the Loop. Lots of information on Lubbock events and businesses!

I can't recommend Bentwood enough. I spent my last year in Lubbock there and I miss that apartment a lot. Really nice apartments for the price. When I moved they were in the process of building a new section, so there's a chance you could get a brand-new apartment. It's a quiet community in a good neighborhood, quick access to everything, awesome management. Of the others you listed, I would also recommend Hunter's Way and Sagewood, and steer clear of Farrar West, Metropolitan and Oak Ridge. I also lived in The Fountains at 50th and Chicago for a while. Those were great apartments, really nice and quiet. Lots of young professionals there.

Good luck!

I'd like to find an apartment here which (1) has an indoor, year-round pool; and (2) is quiet.

Any recommendations?
