Not exactly super exciting, but I do enjoy the "Canyon Lakes" area around MLK. Mountain bike trails in the east of varying difficulty. And the 14 miles round trip loop that goes around the lake. Makes for a nice afternoon when needing to get out of Clovis for a bit.

I guess whoever said Lubbock is boring has never visited prairie dog town! *snark*

If you dislike Lubbock, try spending a week in Tulsa Oklahoma. Your eyes will glaze over with desire to leave.

Think it was TTDave (great poster, where'd he go?), who said that Lubbock is NOT boring, that title goes to his hometown of Abilene.

Anyway, here's some educational material on the Hub City:

I might be looking at a job here soon, so more riding opportunities and access to a Target again!! That and the rents seem quite on par with the Clovis area. So now it's all just a matter of whether the Denver or the Lubbock position goes through first.
