i know the areas to avoid in Amarillo is the Amarillo blvd area...
What place is like that in Lubbock..?

The older parts of Lubbock are in general east of U.S. 84. Lubbock has been growing west toward the sandhills of New Mexico for many years. Most of the growth seems to be toward the southwest.
