Lubbock Business Park seems to be taking off, when accounting for that and the recent Bandera Ventures announcement for its second logistics place there:

^^^^ Great stuff, shoe!

It was only a matter of time before Amazon would make a move to a place like this, and the time is just right.

More grocery happenings: H-E-B has finally opened in Southwest Lubbock at 114th and Quaker. There is now talk of a second location on the west side near the Loop.

It will be interesting when a new United slated for Slide and 114th includes an outlet with some barbecue from Evie Mae's.

Pak-A-Sak convenience stores are making inroads in the Lubbock metro area for the first time. The chain has its headquarters in Amarillo and they've exploded in that market in the last few years. Now, they take their act to the Hub City.

First Lubbock location is on Frankford on the northwest side. A second location, slated for University in the south, is coming.

New developments in Shallowater, northwest of Lubbock. They're planning a whole bunch of new homes in the next couple of years. It's time for a little growth there.
