Where can I buy used & new furniture in Macon? (Jonesboro: apartment, renting)

(I do realize this is the ATL forum but I like the activity on both forums )

I'll be relocating to Macon end of this week and I'm looking for places to buy decent used furniture for our apartment. I'll buy new if the price is right too.

Just looking for the best deals and good stores to buy such things and other household items too including buying washer & dryer. We're also exploring renting washer & dryer (if it makes sense) if anybody knows a good place that rents.

Also looking for office/computer chairs and tables - used or new.

I am also relocating to the same place and have the same problem......I have a plan to start a small home based business there..and for that I need office furniture there ..probably used office furniture if I got a good deal...I hope to get a good response here....any help is appreciated....

I ended up buying home office furniture at Staples. Every furniture store I saw in Macon was quite expensive.
For home furniture I bought at Rooms To Go Outlet in Jonesboro, rented a Uhaul and drove it back to Macon.
