So would it be safe to stay and visit Macon for a day or two? I was thinking of the 1842 Inn. Is this B & B in a great and safe area of the city?

Yes, it is a beautiful B&B in historic downtown.

Moderators should not allow people to inquire about other cities . This is about Tifton and nothing to do with Macon.
