I agree that is a nice but the Downtown_2 is my favorite it gives Macon that big city appearance kind of look like one of those shown in a movie scene.
I do realize that all cities have its pros n cons. I am 48yrs old and did live in macon since age 9. I am a us veteran,I am twice a college graduate first in computer information systems, second in business management (3.3gpa),I also have construction trades skills, and never found a good secure job in "macon georgia". I could only get temp jobs here and there. This is a perfect recipe for trouble in anyone's life.Shamefully I had to live with my parents most of my life while living in macon georgia.Only a few experience good opportunity in macon..this has little to do with work ethic or effort. While living in "macon",I actually spent a good majority of my life trying to become gainfully employed.I have heard the very same opinions from 100s of 1000s of people over the years. Macon is disguised as a good ole city...but underneath the packaging (the real truth) can be found. It can be a good place for a few,it can be a great place to live if you are of the white race. If people would only stop pretending, stop lying...then society would never have to report such a comment.
In my diagnosis don't be fooled by the packaging, your better off to just may be attain an education. After that you should make serious plans to leave...or you will catch "HELL" if you get stuck in" macon georgia".
