Hey everybody. I am moving to Macon at the end of July. The way I hear it is that there is alot of crime in the downtown/central areas of the city. Could anyone suggest places to stay away from? Someone mentioned a big apartment in Riverridge on Riverside. I've also heard the Falls at Spring Creek were good, as well as, Barrington.
I've been in Macon for 22 years and Downtown Macon is one of the safest places to be in Macon. I should know because I started from scratch here on the streets. Now, I have a business in Downtown Macon and we are experiencing a revival. Listen to what one of the Downtown Developers has to say about Downtown Macon:
