While Macon doesn’t have the reputation for barbecue as Austin or Kansas City, we do have our own unique flare centered in Central Georgia.
We’re talking about Fincher’s Bar-B-Q in Macon and Warner Robins.
The insert from the Food Network’s write up said, ‘A three-in-one, the barbecue sauce that's popular around Macon, in Central Georgia, combines all of the main ingredients found throughout the United States: mustard, vinegar and a bit of ketchup.’
Founded in 1935, Fincher’s ships sauce and barbecue nationwide – it even has the distinction of being taken into outer space on a NASA space mission!
To say the least, we’re proud of Fincher’s. Congratulations!
