I would have love for the Hotel and the residential building to be more of high-rise like but hey I'm just excited this development is back on the rise and moving forward. I hope we will soon see proposals and movement for the Renaissance on the River Project as well. I'm praying the old 16 story crown Plaza Hotel gets a buyer soon and that re-opens as well.

Oh most certainly! That Hotel 45 was a success in my opinion- the amphitheater and the 16/75 interchange are all helping bring Macon back to life. I'm sure the Renaissance, Crowne Plaza, and City Centers are soon to follow.

UPDATE- Macon's Poplar Street new boutique hotel, entertainment complex, An $89 million investment if approved by P&Z, developers say construction will start late this year.
Update-The Central City Commons project moving forward Downtown Macon with a 165-hotel room major brand boutique hotel, 232 residential units, 7 stories /500 space parking deck.
