Two questions from former Wisconsin resident looking to possibly move to Madison:

Does anyone have any favorite spots for watching Packers games?

Also, we are going as a family to check out Madison this weekend and want to see the Packers-Eagles game. We could watch it in the hotel room, but it would probably be a lot more fun among lots of fellow Packers fans (not something we get much of around here). So my second question is, does anyone have recommendations for a good place (besides Buffalo Wild Wings) to watch the game and bring a couple kids?

Wow. Surprised that question was such a head scratcher. For others who may later search looking for the answer to this question, one of the correct answers was: The Great Dane.

There may be others just as good but it worked very well for us. And the Pack won.

Does The Old Fashioned have a set up for Packer games? The kid friendly issue is throwing me off.

Yeah, putting bar and kid-friendly together is a head scratcher...I would say Legends, on the west side.

You could play it safe and go to Damon's.

Stadium Bar is my favorite. It's usually not too busy, so kids are fine. The Old fashioned will show the game but they only have a couple of TVs and rarely turn the volume up.

TEE-HEE I don't think we have a Damon's anymore! We watched from the homefront where we could get as sloshed as we cared to. That interception was SWEET
