Stoughton really isn't big enough for good and bad parts. You have nicer homes and smaller homes. Stoughton isn't the worst place to live....schools seem decent, most people are friendly enough (watch out for some of the old timers - if you haven't been here for generations direct from Norway they will be rude) - some good local restaurants and we still have local shops and a movie theatre - but it is a small town....be prepared for that.

Stoughton and Oregon are great little towns. They're growing!!...but still small enough and far enough away from Madison to still be quaint. I agree with the above poster that they're not really big enough for "good" and "bad" parts. Are you interested in a more "newer build" home or one of the older charmers in town I think would be a good question to ask yourself. Let me know if you need any more pointers!
