I would like to know where some areas to get a job would be, how the transpotation is, and how safe the neighborhood is in general...i've heard good and bad things...thanks

The northside is pretty diverse. Unfortunately, your apartment is not in a good area. On the upside it is a block from the area police station.

I am not a huge fan of the northside but I think you would survive. Jobs are all over the city, you need to be more specific. The neighborhood in general is a mixed bag, but there are far worse places.
