Thanks for the link. It'll be especially helpful next year when my son is old enough to take part in that program. For now, tho, I'll have to get a regular child care center. The more research I do, the more I realize it's going to cost a great deal more than it does here in FL Oh, well. I don't have a lot of choice.

You're welcome. I have a special place in my heart for kids, having been a grade school teacher once upon a time.

Have you considered finding a good babysitter or nanny? It might be worth the task of interviewing, screening, etc. so that your son would have more personal care at a cost that works for you and the sitter or nanny. There was a thread about babysitting on this site: http://community.livejournal.com/madisonwi. Just a thought...

Education students will sometimes work as nannies and baby sitters, esp for special needs children, as they can use it on their resumes.

The YMCA does after schhol programs at many of the schools in the Middleton school district. Little Red preschool in Middleton is excellent, too.
