We are considering a move from the CA Central Coast to one of Madison's suburbs. From what we can tell from our online research, Middleton looks like a good bet in terms of housing costs, schools, and proximity to Madison. Would love to hear what people like/don't like about living in the area, and what other suburbs are worth considering? We've got 3 young children and a couple of big dogs. Are looking for something 2,000+ square feet for $350,000 or less. Thanks!

middleton has really become suburbia - it used to be a quiet little suburb but in the last 10 years or so there's been a ton of development and now there's a massive selection of chain type restaurants and shopping.
