We're moving to the area from neo-con Chicago suburbs. What's the political climate like in Verona, Wisconsin? We're looking for a less conservative community but can't find ANY information on Verona political opinions.

It's horrible, it's Daley West aka The Verona Machine. Good Luck.

Admittedly, I don't know much about the political climate of Verona, but I would guess it's pretty middle of the road like most of the towns just outside of Madison. People who choose the smaller towns tend to be a tiny bit more conservative than those who live in the city proper, but the area is fairly liberal overall.

Just sarcasm, it's a small town I'm sure it's probably not much different than any other small town.

Verona political climate can be summed up as: Live and Let Live.

Seriously, you probably have to go out looking for a climate to find one.

Verona is more "down home" than say Mt. Horeb...if you want less conservative and more open minded and unique, go for Horeb!!
