Hi Maineguy,

We will be moving to the Fort very soon, hopefully in time for the Festival!
If you have any advice on what to do/see that would be great. Also, if you or anyone you know will be in need of heavy duty moving boxes, we will be looking to give a bunch away.

It is such a small town you probably know who I am and where I will be living already. Yesterday, I met 2 NY families with relatives in Fort Fairfield! Everyone has exactly the same opinion, Fort people are surprisingly nice!

PenguinMom, Folks in Maine are nice! After you've lived here awhile, you'll realize you are no longer surprised by how nice people are...and then you'll just feel blessed!

Aww, thanks guys lol............my pleasure. I will keep updating. A few fields are starting to blossom, but peak blossom time is still over a week away.
PenguinMom, thanks for the box offer. I will let you know! I recommend the parade if you make it in time (the 17th); it's a big one!
Do you like music festivals? There are a couple coming up in Fort, at the outdoor venue.
Fort people ARE nice! That's been my experience over the years. They've welcomed the new Amish community with open arms, I've heard the Amish say.
