Congratulations!! You'll be here just in time to get settled and learn your way around before winter sets in.

It's hard to say when it will get cold. Two years ago I was cold when I hunted in November. Last year I was too warm. Some years we have kids trick or treating in snow suits and snow in November, other years no snow til January. The way the weather pattern changes these days, who knows!

Welcome!

Let me acquaint you with an old Maine saying: "If you don't like the weather, wait a minute." Maine is a state where you can sometimes enjoy all 4 seasons in one day.

Although I do enjoy summer, the heat this year is getting a little tiresome for me because I'm used to this type of humidity later in the summer. I won't complain AT ALL about the great warm spring we had, but I'm ready for it to cool off a little.
