Congrats! I don't think it would be too hard to find a place to rent although most of the listings in the Quoddy Tides are in Eastport. You could call the local realtors.

Due East (Calais office) - (207) 454-2525

Cobscook Properties - (207) 853-6179

Thank you!!! Everyone seems to be really helpful! My husband has been given a couple of names and numbers to call as well! Keeping the faith that we will find something quickly so me and the girls can join the hubby in the new adventure!

The Calais Advertiser is the local paper around Calais. They may have notices of apartments and such.

Haahaahaa He said there were a LOT of Trees! ha! He definately gave it a thumbs up but he is still a little shell shocked we are from a 'small town' in New Hampshire, but I think we were wrong about that thought. In town all the needed shops were there and a nice amount of small businesses, the town looked nice and the people have been VERY nice and helpful.

Thanks--but I'm confused: is Calais big compared to your small NH town, and that is why he is shell shocked?

And when you say in town all the needed shops were there, etc.--do you mean in your small NH town or in Calais?

Me too...Calais while our local shopping area, is not exactly a Broadway of shopping....and trees, everyone has them in New England.

Sorry, our small town is quiet large in comparison, that is what sent him into shell shock.

This was about Calais
In town all the needed shops were there and a nice amount of small businesses, the town looked nice and the people have been VERY nice and helpful

And yes tress are plentyfull in many new England towns but up there they were more so, when you get out of down town neighbors become farther away then we are used to, there is a lot more unused outoors. Does that make sense?

Im down with it! : ) I cant wait
