You can make them from batter too I guess, just drop them in. Can you buy lard or do you have to get some pork fat and render it yourself?

Last I knew you could buy it in the grocery store. I haven't bought it for several years.

I saw it in walmart tonight but it says that it contains lard and hydrolized lard, a web site that I was looking at says don't by if it has hydrolized, not quite sure why.
