I just want to wish all my friends, enemies, and "dunno-who-the-heck's" a wonderful, warm, food-filled Thanksgiving Day!

Despite the hardships of the present economy, and the prospect of war, and whatever other troubles we may have, setting aside one day a year just to reflect on how fortunate we all are to be living here in the USA and having our friends and family near on this day, is an opportunity we should never take for granted.

I wish you all a very happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to the Maine city-data members and readers! May you all have a safe and relaxing holiday.

This time next year, we'll be celebrating Thanksgiving in our Maine home.

Happy Thanksgiving to all! This is our first Thanksgiving here. Few of our family are here but neighbors have invited us for Thanksgiving dinner. Life here is good.

Well said Nor'....We're coming to Fern's next year! MW is probably eating venison tomorrow???
My contribution to tomorrow was a big bowl of clam dip.(I got off easy!) Looks like 18 for dinner...should be a good day.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

Yep, happy T-day everyone. I tried to invite a few people here but it looks like it will be just me and the wife...and a lot of leftovers. We'll be eating late because I have to work.

Happy Thanksgiving to all the City Data Mainiacs!

We're already one Turkey Day ahead of you southern slowpokes, but in deference to the American half of the family (and my fondness for turkey/cranberry sandwiches) we'll be popping another gobbler in the oven in a few hours.

At the risk of sounding preachy, perhaps we should all think of those less fortunate before we start drawing lots for the last drum stick; sometimes the smallest contribution can make a large difference in another person's day.

I could go for two Thanksgiving Days! Maybe we'll start celebrating Canadian Thanksgiving too!
