'Tis the season! No one will panic with 15 inches of snow up there. Not even a good base for the snow machines!

15"? Some guys have all the luck! Here at the northern end of VT we're going to see snow showers with maybe 6" over the next few days. Ah, but it's going to get down to zero later this week, so you know it'll stick around. The coldest 90 days of the year are from Dec. 5 - Mar. 5, so that all seems about right - even if it is 91 days. Enjoy it folks!

Its a white out! We're doomed. Local forcast is for 12-20" up here in the central highlands. The groomers are salivating.

I finally finished installing a door into the back wood shed. There is something comforting about walking in and being surrounded by ten cord of seasoned logs towering around me.

I got the Jeep stuck twice in the door yard this morning. My other beefed up Jeep went through the worst piles practically in 2 wheel drive. Unfortunately it needs a heater motor at the moment.

My forecast on yahoo says 3-5 inches. The way it looks, we'll get much more by tomorrow.

dmyankee is correct. We already have about a foot. It's hard to tell with this wind, but it's up to the front hubs on the Kubota. I'll wait until it tapers off to go out.

It isn't heavy and wet. Temp here is 25 degrees and the snow is drifting. I know why Clownshoes is inquiring. It will require some digging out. Note my status.

* Accumulations... 12 to 16 inches with some locations seeing up
to 20 inches.

* Timing... through this evening.

* Temperatures... lower 30s.

* Winds... northwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 35 mph.

* Impacts... high impact. Heavy snow and gusty winds will create
very hazardous traveling conditions. Heavy wet snow will cause
trees to snap on power lines leading with power outages.

Wet and heavy down here. Probably about 5-6 inches so far and looks as if it's letting up. I hate shoveling slush.

Seems pretty fluffy here.

My tractor's front wheel seized this morning so I can't use it for plowing today The dealership says they will be out tomorrow to haul it to their repair shop.

I was so happy to be done using a shovel. But for now, I guess it is shovel time again.

Then again, snow shoveling is a good reason to make some eggnog.

So I am thinking we may be discussing all this snow with Ron Bacardi or Captain Morgan this afternoon. I wonder if I can find some black rum like Lord Admiral Pusser in the back of the cabinet.
