My boyfriend and I are looking to celebrate our anniversary the weekend of April 22nd to the 24th. We want to find a great hotel somewhere in New England that offers scenic views, fun nightlife, and beautiful places to take photos. While it will be cold, we were hoping to find somewhere near the beach. Many people have suggested we visit Maine for their lighthouses and beaches as well as their botanical garden. Can anyone suggest great locations and hotels? Thank you so much!

Sorry for a double post, but I thought I'd add that we can only spend up to $115 a night. Any affordable hotels in great locations in Maine?

I'm not sure about getting all of that for $115 a night. What do you mean by "fun night life"? (Meaning do you want to bar-hop or catch a concert, or will a pub or two suffice?)

We found two hotels that are beautiful decorated with indoor pools (the boyfriend NEEDS to have one... talk about being a brat :P) all within our price range! One is near the beach in Ogunquit while the other is in Portland. Now it is just a matter of picking which location we like best.
