Remember when many restaurants used to have all you can eat Fried Haddock on Friday night.?I can think of about 5 places on MDI that used to do it,sadly they are all gone. Do you know of anywhere on MDI or your neck of the woods that still does this?

Since you included other neck of the woods, there are plenty in Southern Aroostook. Elm Tree Diner, Big Stop in Houlton, Brookside Inn in Symrna to name a few. Only issue is it won't be haddock. Pollock is the fish that will be served more times than not.

I vote for the Brookside Inn. Our Restaurant

They say on their web page that it's still haddock too, though I'd think it was pollock. 'Guess I'll have to give it a try.

Stonington- the Harbor Cafe and Fishermen's Friend Restaurant still do. I would think Jasper's in Ellsworth as well (though I am not sure).

The Amvets Post 13 in Durham do a Fish Fry every Friday night. Probably a little out of your way though.

How about a Wednesday Night Fish Fry? Blue Bird Ranch Family Restaurant in Machias, Maine

White Birches in Ellsworth used to do an all you can eat haddock on Friday nights. It's now Acadia Birches Knights Inn so hard saying....according to the web site, they are only serving breakfast...oh well...new ownership isn't always a good thing

Jasper's is showing a Friday night fish fry on their menu. http://www.jaspersmaine.com/PDF/Seafood.pdf (broken link) ($14.99)
