I loved the one of the horse barn. Are you eventually going to put a horse in it?

Your housewarming party sounded like fun too! You'll have to teach me that little window trick. Sounds tricky to me but hell, I'll try anything once.
That is not our barn. there are several 4-acre parcels along our road, and no trees to speak of left on them, so we can see neighbors though they are not close enough that when we sneeze, they bless us. LOL That is the next door place, and they do have horses. She uses them as an adjunct to her husband's ministry, I believe... with youngsters, who show up regularly to ride and groom them. "ponies, pizza and Jesus" were her words. Many of the kids are "special needs." She has electric fence up and the horses roam on both sides of her driveway (HER solution to "lawn").

A wonderful neighborhood, and beautiful pictures.

A got a kick out of the hand lettered sign.

I do not know anything however about Maine's Ostrich redemption program however. It sounds Mainely like a Mainiac idea.

Those are the trees!! We don't have those kinds of pine trees here. They're just beautiful!
