I have my own webspace so I just put my images there and pull them in here when I post them. It's not really that expensive, some hosts give space for around $4 USD a month with ample storage space for most.

In Flickr you can click on "All sizes" for the image and then you can right click on the image and one of the options is "Copy image location", click on that option and then come back to the forum and in your post click the little postcard icon and then paste the location you copied. I use Firefox for a browser so I don't know if it is the same options in Internet Explorer.

Just went onto Internet Explorer and it is basically the same with the difference being you do not right click on the image after opening "All sizes". When it opens the larger image, scroll down and one of the options is "2. Grab the photo's URL:", you copy that box and then come back on the forum and everything is the same after that for posting the image.

A quick way to paste is to just use <Ctrl> + V.

Remember thought that just because somebody lets you view their images on Flickr, most are still copyright protected. An image on Flickr is NOT a public domain image usually.

Correct Bydand, that goes for most websites that host images. Just because it's on the internet doesn't make it public domain nor fair game to steal.

Smile thieving photos...

Thieving photos - or anything else - except perhaps hearts, and probably this, too - is unaccountable practice!

A few days ago we went to the Donnell Pond area and did Black and Caribou mountains. A long hike with alternating areas of woods, open granite sheets, and even a marshy area.

Near top of Black ( we didn't go to the summit until near the end of the loop

This was a second attempt to get up the S. Bubble Trail as part of a loop over Conners Nubble.

5 minutes out of the car and Kelley was is in the water

Again the trail was steep and rocky

and we came to the spot we had come to before from above and again could not find a way around it

We bushwhacked down to the Carry Trail and took that to Eagle Lake. At one point Kelley had to swim out and around rocks in the trail
