sighs. Thankfully, a quick moving, little storm we had...The combination of the fall colors & the shots of blue sky behind the N.C. Wyeth-esque clouds of late takes my breath away.

Thumbs up Marshall Point Lighthouse, Port Clyde, Maine

This one is from my phone camera. The resolution doesn't do it justice.

This is Marshall Point Lighthouse, Port Clyde, Maine. It is a beautiful place. My company painted it about 5 years ago. We are going back to paint it this spring. It was in the movie Forrest Gump. The part where he runs back and forth from the coast's. You can see Tom Hank's stunt double run up to the light house and back. It was also in Stephen King's movie Thinner. The part where the gypsy guy meets the main character and they talk on the bench. It was also in a Subaru commercial. It really is a nice place and town.

On a road trip up the coast of Maine a few years ago chasing lighthouses, my wife and I stopped at the Marshall Point Lighthouse. Here's a picture we took:

Pics are from our new yard. I happened to be up there for the first snow. wow what a treat. This was our dog's first snow, and he is all dressed out in his "don't shoot me i'm just a dog" scarf.
Anyone know what these red berries are? They are very pretty!
