So amazing to see apples trees nearly everywhere bearing so heavy this year.

Still getting a lot of strawberries here in Western New England...and kale to winter over. Today (9/24) it very warm and sticky, cloudy--no crisp fresh fall air! As usual, will wait till Nov. 1, hook or by crook, to turn on the heat. Let's hope October is mild.

Used to do that in WA state. Did it one time for a summer job while in high school.

But yah, picking apples and then putting them through the cider press to make home made apple juice....man, MAN do I miss that taste.

Don't have a cider press though. =(

Ok, it's not just because I'm sick then. (No, not because of the a/c, took that out a week ago.)

I was already sweating because of being sick but it felt so muggy for a cloudy day. Gave me flashbacks to Miami. It's supposed to be cold when it's cloudy, dang it!
