I just read in our local paper, Culpeper Star Exponent, that 40 thousand lbs. of potatoes are coming in from Maine to be distributed to local food agencies in our area. They are looking for volunteers to help re-bag and I will be there tomorrow. Thank you.

Are these supposed to be to help out the less fortunate at Thanksgiving?

^^yes they are. Unfortunately, at the last minute it seems the Maine potatoes went somewhere else, we ended up with 44 thousand lbs. of sweet potatoes from S.C. Well, I'm sure whoever got them is appreciative. Either way, that's a lot of potatoes to help people.
