Well, another turkey day behind us. Now it's time for left overs! I personally like to whip up a couple of turkey pies, one for now and freeze one. Any other good ideas?

We're making pot pies today with buttermilk bisquit crusts. Sinfully, the rest of dinner has been picked at thoroughly and finished off. Diet shot to he77.

You gotta love the "day After sandwich" toasted bread, with cold bread stuffing on one slice, hot turkey mixed with a little gravy in the middle, and cranberry sauce spread on the other slice like jam.
and don't forget to boil up the turkey carcass and make soup.

You guys are killing me. I have recently turned to a wheat free diet because my son is now living with me again and it's his passion. So our turkey day was a little different this year. Don't ask.

What I would give for a a big pile of stuffing, gravy, buttered bread and left-over pies.

We always have turkey gravy on biscuits. We put stuffing with pieces of meat right in the gravy and ladle it out onto some fresh biscuits right out of the oven. Mmmm good. Sometimes we have it on rice. I bet RMoore007 could think up a great stuffing made with rice instead of bread crumbs.

Send your son to the Common Ground Fair next year. He'll find some woman into macrobiotic diets and you'll see him only when it's time to harvest your garden.

Yup, we did that too. Sent him home with some pot pie last night too. At least we know he eats well after a visit. At least that's the idea we hang on to. LOL
