I think this is ok.....if not, I'm sure someone will tell me!
In another part of City-Data there is an Off Topic forum. I thought that maybe we could try the same thing here....hopefully, it won't be "off-topic"! Maybe try to say one thing about Maine in every post? Anyway, we need more of a chance for us regular posters to exchange thoughts without having to hijack a thread. (which I got in trouble for once all ready and I'm trying to be a better girl!)
So, any random thoughts are welcome and much appreciated.
Okay Mollsy, I'm looking for a good place to buy fabric for curtains, I have lots to make for the new house, so cost and quality are important. Does Mardens have a decent selection do ya think?
hmmm....Marden's in Brewer does have fabric, and usually they have a good selection. BUT you may not find all that you want of a particular print. JoAnn's usually has a pretty good bargain section, so you could check there too. Where else? have to think about that!
Is it raining there? I looked on the radar, and it looks as if Calais is the only place that got this icky (but good for the garden!) rain!
I was thinking about that earlier! You know, it's really not a half bad idea if we knew anyone with experience in running a business like that and had a few investors!
the drive is going to be beautiful! I saw somewhere that you drive up along Rt 1? How is the traffic after Labor Day along there? We try to avoid Rt 1 (in the southern part of the state) like the plague in the summer! I'm just wondering when it starts to improve!
ok....it's going to be a beautiful day and we're going to be out and about Hope you all have a nice day and have a chance to get out and enjoy it too!
