If I PM my email address to you would you forward that email to me? I was a Senior FarmShare farmer for three years. I didn't do it this year. I'm curious about the reason there are unfilled accounts this time of year. There's normally a waiting list. I had 15 seniors last year and could have taken another 15 if there had been enough funding.

I was wondering the same thing. It seems that though the program is great, the PR is awful- many seniors don't know about it, and it seems that transportation/location has a LOT to do with participation.

I have another one for you. ANYONE who is low income, including seniors who may be on Medicare, can get prescription drug assistance for monthly usage prescription drugs through a program called EZ Meds. You apply, get registered, then you pay only $97 a month for all your prescriptions, whether you're on 2 or 10 different meds. It's a great program. If anyone has any interest, contact me for the info.
As an example, my grandma is on 6 prescriptions that are monthly maintenance drugs. She used to pay $572 a month. Now she pays $97 - period.
