Shead girls were out the first night. So, no; not interested. I remember going and we had two spectator buses plus those that drove on their own. It's like Texas HS football around here.

DH says there are a couple of years we didn't go. Without kids in school I'm happy to stay home rather than make the two hour drive but I still like to watch some of the kids play.

It's nice that they are streaming the games live now online- I have friends in England (and NC, FL, CT and MA!) that were able to watch the Deer Isle-Stonington / Jonesport-Beals game yesterday.

Been watching it some on TV. I sure wish the boys teams would lose those swishy skirt-like uniforms and go back to ordinary shorts. The present uniforms are below the knees of most of them now and if they get any longer they will be tripping themselves.

Which era of "ordinary" shorts are we talking here? Jack Lalanne? Magnum, PI? I think the ones they are wearing are pretty standard issue for 2012.
