a couple of violas are blooming and chives are up; I was out doing a little work mostly cleaning up debrie I failed to clean up last fall. The sun is hot; the ground is still very wet and except in the sun.....there is still an ice layer about 3 inches below the surface.

The evening primrose plants are growing vigorously....they really can take over!

81F in Merrimack county, NH. This is the twilight zone weather pattern.

Day 3 temperature height anomalies running 2-3 standard deviations above average= record high temperatures everywhere. This is an unprecedented March weather pattern and I've been studying meteorology and climatology for years.

I drove in to a camp today on hard frozen ground, but that road will be impassable by Thursday. The ice went out of the Penobscot on Friday from Mattawamkeag to the ocean.

Today I moved my travel camper onto pavement because my ground may be soft for a month and we have a camping trip the weekend of April 21 & 22.

This pattern is highly unusual, though. I would prefer it to be about 50F cooler, but winter might make a slight reappearance by early April.

I love weather.

Living underwater our temps stayed within a 1/2 degree variation in temp and a 2 percentage in humidity. It was always the exact same. No pollen, no humidity, no warm, no cool.

I like weather instead. It always changes through-out the day.
