Here are some examples:

Stoneham: "A Small Town . . . Overflowing With Tradition"

Kittery: "Gateway to Maine"

Wells: "The Friendliest Town in Maine"

What's your town's motto?

I used to live in Belmont, NH.....The town motto over there is: "Belmont, Best Town by a Dam Site!"

I can't find that my current hometown, Gorham Maine, has an official seal or motto.

Ok, so....I use to live in Smyrna Mills, actually Merrill right over the border and don't know about a motto but when I would tell "outsiders" or "foreigners" as they call us down country folk..where I lived they would say 'WHERE'S THAT'...so I guess that you could say perhaps the motto waaaayyy up there should be "WHERE'S THAT?"
