It is good for folks to hold high goals, and in that case to be working toward their goals.

My Dw has never been in an establishment that had dancers. That seems to have been very open-minded of you to have gone in, to have bought a dance, and to even have had a conversation with a dancer.

We've also been into Marks Showcase or whatever it's called now in PTLD, we went with a big group of friends. It was actually pretty fun as a group. Open minded? Maybe... perhaps more like self confident.

Regarding me buying DH the dance... I felt bad for the girls. We were the only customers in there! They were just trying to make a living. It's THEIR choice how they choose to make it, and of no concern of mine. I had a conversation with her b/c I was curious as to why she was in Millinocket and what her future plans were. God knows they certainly don't have a retirement plan / 401k there! I would think an "entertainer" would hit their prime about their mid 20's - 30's? I was relieved to hear that she was a student and had bigger goals and future plans in life.

Maineah - no Playboy? I'm sorry, IMO it's only magazine. Besides, you only buy it for the stories, right?

It just struck me as odd that a lady would spend money in that manner.

My Dw has told me in the past that if I feel those urges I am free to visit or spend a few buck on dancers, just that I am to ensure that she never sees a receipt or bill on our CC [She suggested that I visit a bank first if I needed cash].

So I would have assumed that if your Dh were to visit a place with dancers, that you would have excused yourself and done something different.

You're not in the real world are you??
If I had a wife who was self assured enough to know that our relationship was so solid that I could oogle some young perky breasts and that was not threatening in any way I certainly wouldn't want my wife to go away while I was having fun. Especially if she's paying!!! I'm going home with her and I'm going to want her that much more.... Ft Lauderdale Mermaid ...you're a rare woman....
