We've been having them (blue jays) right along at my porch feeder. Also getting chicadees but I'm sure missing the cardinals which are so beautiful and love to hear their call. We have fewer trees as neighbors across the street had to cut down 3 huge ones a few years ago. I think this may make a difference.
Not too humorous when cats kill 500,000,000 songbirds yearly in North America, where I live one nest of Bald eagles kill around 10-15 cats per season, this is verified by the collars they find in and around their nests, and the good part of this story is not all cats wear collars, hooray for our side !

Yeah, I don't have much use for people that let their cats that roam outside. They kill lots of wildlife for the fun of it, and most get hit by cars.
They are here too. also been seeing a lot of partridges!
