It was 30 degrees this morning, but it's a bright sunny day. I mentioned at the general store that I was going to take a chance and take my snow blower off the tractor today. One man said, "Don't put anything in front of it." I figure any snow we get I can just clear with the bucket on the tractor. The last pile of snow in the yard is nearly gone and the salmon are biting in the lakes.

Last weekend, Chamberlain lake had 21 inches of ice so the big lakes are not out yet.

I packed my winter coat and snow pants in the bin last week but haven't taken the bin to the basement yet. Black flies are out. I've spent most of the day doing yard work with them buzzing around my head. Just the males for another week or so, and they don't bite.

Sure way to get more snow, is to take the snowblower off.
