My sister and I would like to take our 3 kids ages 7-15 camping for a couple of nights this summer and we would camp with a tent. We do however want access to showers, electricity and swimming. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Thank you, I did try using google, but didn't have great luck. Sometimes the best recommendations are from people who have actually done this or know someone who has.

Many, but not all the state parks have showers. Very few have electricity. For that I think you should be looking at commercial campgrounds. Keep in mind that most sites with electrical service are designed for trailers, not tents. So even though you could pitch a tent on one of these sites it probably won't be ideal.

My daughter and I camped with a tent at a beautiful campground across the road from Acadia State Park, no reservations needed. I'm sorry I don't remember the name. You might be able to find it with a google search.
