When you arrive, please go to Two Lights in Cape Elizabeth, order a lobster roll. Sit out on the benches and look out to the ocean. Listen to the gulls, hear the tide and smell the ocean.

You just found home.
Amen to going to Two Lights--I went there a few years ago when I was house-hunting on Cape Elizabeth--Great seafood, & that with the ocean & salt air is almost like therapy. (And Why didn't I buy that beautiful house I saw?).....

Glad to hear you got back to Maine. Sure hope your have great experiences.

to Namder - I am not at all surprized you are "bored" with Maine as you picked the remote town of Abbot (sp?) to live in. Too bad you didn't pick a place with a bit more going on. The only time we have been there is on our way to Greenville. If you blink you miss it. lol

Also to Namder- most people won't do well in such a remote location, especially after living in CA all those years. Don't blame Maine..........

Congrats on your ability to move back to the best State east of the Mississippi. I think its probably the best state altogether, but I've not personally been to any state west of the Mississippi, except Texas. And.....Texas doesn't hold a candle to MAINE!
