Default sleddin'

My boys are riding Jackman this weekend as opposed to the county which they ride every weekend. I haven't had good experiences riding those trails in Jackman at all. Seems like every ma$$hole headed north on a Friday night, ends up riding the Jackman area. You know they come up, drink all day and then ride half in the bag all night long. At at least 85mph. I personally never liked those trails much. We always felt so much more comfortable up in the county.

Hi Moughie,

I haven't been up yet this year, but my son and his dad ride the ITS trails every weekend from Caribou all over the county. They usually ride about 250 miles a day. That used to be a little rough on me, it makes for a really long day. My sled is still up there at the ex-DH's house (in Orrington) and they're begging me to come up for a long weekend. We usually stay at Russells and will ride over to Fort Kent and sometimes down through Portage. They both have brand new sleds this year and tend to ride a little faster than I care to.

I've seen some of the most beautiful areas in the great state of Maine that many others don't get the opportunity to see from my sled. I miss that as well as ice fishing on East Grand with those boyz! We stay at Greenlands Cove camps up there and what fun we have!

Missing home.... but I have a lot of family and friends headed down here to visit within the 3 mos. That'll be fun too!

I know Russells, pass it ALL the time. Good friend lives just down the street.
