Whether you adjust or not is all up to you. As I have aged, I prefer warmer weather, plus rain is easier to shovel off the driveway than snow.

WOW 20 degrees must be unusual for Los Angeles. It's 28 here in mid Maine right now, but tomorrow promises to be colder. Just got a call and they are delivering our new snowblower in about a half hour. This is the first one we've ever had, after all the years of shoveling it's "about time". Hate to think we are going to have to use it by Sunday.

Thanks for the correction AustinB. Our forecaster was showing a picture of the cold air coming down through Canada when he mentioned the -135 degrees so I thought that was where we were getting ours.

Thanks again!!!

I just discovered the way to beat winter. I bought a Baxter State Parka from LL Beans and now I don't feel it. It cost a lot, but it seems to be working. Today will be the test, since it's supposed to go below zero tonight.

Revi - An LL Bean parka is nice but don't for get to keep those feet and hands warm too.

I used to like LL Bean but haven't bought from them in a couple of years. Since they placed a huge order from a local wreath company here in Maine and then "Cancelled" it after the wreaths had been made up, leaving the company holding the bag. Not nice.

So what your saying is that temps are a bit warmer than seasonal norm.

Just heard on the news that we here in L.A. are expecting a warming trend. Should be in the mid 30's tonight! Seriously. How do you guys take the cold over there? Is your skin a bit thicker, or your blood thicker? I need to know!!!!
