Please have a wonderful holiday!

Do you have any Christmas traditions you want to share with the group?

Our Christmas changes from year to year, and we are always doing different things.

All Best Wishes,

bird in Southern Maine

Merry Christmas to all our fellow Mainers!

We have the land and a small ranch built on it, but won't move up there till spring/summer 2014. Every day that goes by is one day less I have to wait!

Our only tradition is that both daughters and SILs come over with our 6 grandchildren for dinner and gifts for the grandkids. Usually minimal squabbling. I will feel sorry next year at Christmas, because we have to come back down here to RI to see the grandkids, and have dinner. Would love to do it all up in Maine but I realize the kids have school in a week, and their parents have to work the next day.

I get spoiled, being retired! Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...

Merry Christmas. I see the long range weather forecast will have a white new years(to go with the ice crusted 24 inches we have now---over Jan 2 to Jan 4 of about 18 - 24 inches of light powder. I really want one of those John Deer enclosed riding tractor snow blowers I saw in Craigslist for $1500!! I have a big Toro which does a super job, but I have to man handle it. Of course, I can probably get my driveway paved for $1500 and then the Toro will work like a dream and not have to be manhandled over an uneven stone driveway.

Merry Christmas, from Southern California to Maine!
On Christmas morning, we pull the crackers, don the paper hats, and have warm, home-baked cinnamon rolls, drizzled with glaze.
Then it's off to the fireplace to see what St. Nick hid in our stockings! What a jolly ol' fellow!
Even though we are expecting 80 degrees tomorrow, we can still look forward to next Christmas… in Maine!
Happy New Year, and be safe in the ice and snow!

We don't have a white Xmas here in the UK, in fact we have huge gusts of wind, rain and disruptions. I think I can hear Santa. Night all

Do you live near the Castle? Does Santa Fly over the castle on Christmas Eve?

I don't, I'm just outside the city centre. I would have hoped so. He delivered to me this morning, so I'm hoping he passed over the top
