P.S.

As for any of you Niner fans out there, I mean no disrespect, but I've been a Rams fan since the "Fearsome Foursome", and man did we not have a rivalry in the 80's.

Anyways; whoever you are fans of over there, stay warm and safe. I see you are getting some nasty weather. Out here I'm in a T shirt and jeans watering my lawn with 65 degree weather. You know what is sick about this. I wish I was over there. Go figure.

I think the Super bowl should always be played in Green Bay, outside. It should start at 9:00 AM, and they should play the best out of three, all in the same day.

Any team that winds in those conditions, deserves to be called Super. I remember when all the games were played outside in the 60's and 70's and the players could barely hold on to the ball.

I went to the Raider games whenever they would play the Rams when they were the Los Angeles Raiders at the L.A. collesium. I barely made it out of there alive. They were some of the worst, classless fans I ever had the displeasure of meeting.

Go Pack. Brrrr.

Parducci - do you remember or have heard of Jim Otto - Oakland Raiders and Elroy "Crazylegs" Hirsch - LA Rams?
Kind of amazing, they both went to Wausau Senior High here in Wausau, Wis., a couple miles down the road from me.

I met Jim Otto when I lived there. He owned a couple restaurants and other businesses in the Sacramento area. He was a nice guy. He was old school for sure!

Remember when players would break a bone and keep playing. Anyone remember the Youngblood brothers with the Rams. One of them broke a leg and played through the game. I miss the games that were played in the open. Now there are few teams that still play in the elements.

I'm so looking forward to the Packers Niners game. Talk about old school. Enjoy the playoffs!

Football was always about balmy weather in August and then increasingly bad conditions until you were playing in Snow on Thanksgiving. This isn't baseball. Its American Rugby. It still should be that, not some winter version of baseball.
