I agreed which ever place I received a job offer, we shall go. When we arrived, I was overcome by the sheer generosity of the people here. We love it so much that we've decided to buy a home in either Presque Isle or Houlton.
thanks for sharing!!

You've certainly done it enough to qualify for the T-Shirt!

Seriously, OP, do a search for tcrackly's posts. That's another way to find answers to your questions.

What I get riled up about, NOT referring to the ops post, is when people always assume that because a place is let's say 95, 96, 97, 98% white, it is prejudice (or the pc "racist"). How many people do you see posting "Oh, I am moving to Detroit or Atlanta, or Birmingham or whatever and I heard that it is 78% black (African-American to those of the pc mindset) and I am white/anglo/European. Is it racist? Will I be accepted? Boy the P.C. left would have a field day with someone posting this. I guess something like this is politically incorrect to ask huh? After all, only whites can be "racist" right? People, KNOCK IT OFF!! It is what it is, white black or whatever. You will meet people that accept you. You will meet people that WON'T accept you. You won't really know until you land. Just because a place is 98% one way or another doesn't automatically make it racist. Maybe nobody of a different ethnic group wants to or has move/live there for whatever reason. Who knows. People have been listening to the P.C. left too much.
