They way I look at the police per capita report is, the more police the worse. More likely my dog is to be shot, me or my wife to be assaulted, extorted, kidnapped or even murdered. Police in most cases are the larger danger than the element they sold to us as protection from.

Most violent crime in Maine is perpetrated by people that know the victims........worse yet, many are family members.
